Cab Cross

My cab driver had this hand-made cross taped to his windshield:

I wasn't content to silently judge the ostentatious display of religiosity and I asked the driver about it.  He was super nice.  Told me his daughter made it for Palm Sunday about 4 years ago and he's had it up ever since.  She's in college now abroad and he misses her.  He said pictures were fine, but requested not to be in them.  Here's a street view of the cross:

I wish him and his family the best.  (Still think the cross is a bit much, though.)
